As a Sr. Fullstack Developer you will:

    • Build React components and features by implementing design, interaction, and data specifications. Vetted’s website is built with React, following the latest best practices. They value staying current with the React ecosystem to improve the user experience.
    • Develop React Native components and features. Vetted’s React Native codebase is distinct from their React website, requiring a tailored approach for mobile-specific functionalities and differences.
    • Build browser extension features like store detection and inline product recommendations. Vetted’s browser extension integrates deeply with users' browsing experiences, so special attention to user privacy and performance is crucial.
    • Create API endpoints to serve data to clients. Vetted's APIs, written in Typescript, are tightly integrated with the frontend. While heavy data processing is handled by other teams, frontend developers regularly build and maintain API endpoints.
    • Collaborate with the design team to implement their vision while providing technical guidance. You’ll help organize visual components and ensure interactions are feasible and consistent.
    • Work closely with the backend team to define API data requirements, ensuring that backend systems meet frontend needs. You’ll provide clear specifications and collaborate to solve any data dependency issues.
    • Write and maintain strict Typescript code with a focus on implementing robust tests. Vetted prioritizes safety and productivity, making strict typing and comprehensive testing essential.

    • A deep understanding of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how to implement features effectively while knowing the limitations of these technologies.
    • Expertise in the Typescript type system, understanding how to create and manage well-structured, strict types across large codebases.
    • Knowledge of the full technical pipeline—from server to client—enabling you to optimize data and asset delivery for a fast, seamless user experience.
    • Strong debugging and optimization skills for both Node.js and client-side code, particularly in complex systems.
    • Experience working with HTTP APIs, building or maintaining client SDKs, and collaborating with backend teams to design and implement necessary endpoints.
    • Familiarity with React Native and mobile app development, with an understanding of performance optimization for mobile experiences.
    • Experience in browser extension development, focusing on privacy, user experience, and performance.
