Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled across the full stack, with a passion for creating engaging, efficient, and scalable web applications. You will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of our platform.
Current Tech
We’re transitioning off the original WordPress implementation, writing code on a next-gen stack where possible, and migrating to new systems. You’ll be instrumental in helping us make this shift while balancing the addition of new features to the existing system.

Current: NodeJS NextJs React Typescript Tailwind MySQL
Future: NestJs ElasticSearch Docker K8s Kafka AWS
Outgoing: WordPress PHP jQuery
Qualifications (some mix of the following)
- 7+ years of professional work.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Impeccable soft skills (writing, communicating, mentoring).
- Strong proficiency in Typescript, NodeJS, PHP, ReactJs, Docker, and AWS.
- Experience with scaling large databases (ideally millions of rows).
- Experience with Web API development and integration.
- Developing logging and monitoring systems.
- Event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring.
- Punctuality, organization, and time management.
Bonus Points:
- Tailwind, NextJs, NestJs, GraphQL, Kafka.
- WordPress (while we transition away).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our web platform, ensuring robustness, performance, and fantastic UX.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in NodeJS/PHP, with test coverage.
- Manage databases and data storage solutions, primarily using MySQL, ensuring data security, integrity, and scalability.
- Manage infrastructure in AWS.
- Utilize Docker for containerization, facilitating consistent environments.
- Write industry-standard interfaces, using ReactJs/NextJs with Tailwind CSS for styling.
- Solve database optimization and scaling issues as they arise.
- Install and improve logging & monitoring systems.
- Develop technical roadmaps to prioritize the minimization of debt.
- Mentor incoming developers and set policies for sustainable team growth.
