Photoweb, was created in 1999, and as part of our international expansion we are setting up our new office in Lisbon in order to expand our IT team and create a “Tech team” of 20 employees. (web developer, data scientist, data engineer ...).

We are a French company based in Grenoble (in the French Alps ????) and in Paris, with nearly 250 employees; pure player specializing in photo printing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a member of our Digital's transformation program codenamed “Saturn”, you will join our “e-commerce platform” team responsible in the deployment, development and continuous improvement of the e-commerce platform based on Magento 2.

 

You will be part of our driven, talented, dynamic and passionate team ????.

Some key words about the current use of our development:

An e-commerce site visited by several million customers
A production workshop of around 100 people who use our applications/tools on a daily basis to manufacture/ship our customers' orders
Adept at agile practices, we use methods based on the Scrum framework ???????? Join our development team and take on many challenges!

You will:

participate in the development of evolution requested by our different business services bring your Magento expertise to guide and facilitate the integration of new features using native features or recognized solution/modules from Magento ecosystem help to define an architecture scalable for production constraints with high volume of traffic + seasonal peaks
ensure the release pipeline (CI/CD) is efficient and allow multiple releases while minimizing risks of regression contribute to the corrective maintenance of the platform as we continue to grow, add products, and open new markets.

Ideal profile
Who are you?

* A previous working experience as a Magento 2 developer/engineer for at least 2 years

* Proven experience in setup and developing complex Magento 2 websites and architecture for high volume traffic: distributed architecture experience + Magento’s external caching systems (redis, cdn [fastly/cloudfront]) is a plus in your application

* Ease to work on both:

front office (shop pages/customer facing features/checkout flow)
back-office features (admin panel modules)
Standard APIs expertise (integration with our Datalake for sales reporting),
Custom APIs design (3rd party IT system integration)
* Know and Follow Magento's guidelines for upgrade-safe customizations

* Strong knowledge of the ecosystem of Magento 2

* In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles

* Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

* Meticulous attention to detail

* Love to share his knowledge

* An experience on professional dev and release pipelines using Docker, CI/CD, orchestrating with Kubernetes and using cache systems will be a big plus
