Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years in license management (also open for juniors)
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and update the company’s group-wide software license inventory, ensuring compliance with usage and commercial license volumes.
*Oversee and develop the Software Asset Management (SAM) process to optimize software license use and manage costs effectively.
*Ensure legal compliance and economic efficiency in software deployment while adhering to compliance guidelines.
*Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on licensing matters, facilitating efficient communication and collaboration.
*Develop, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures for license management to establish clear structures.
*Lead software and license analysis, as well as external license audits, to optimize the company’s license landscape and ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Experience:
*Must-Have: Several years of experience in license management; Expertise in conducting license audits.
*Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with licensing metrics from major software vendors such as Microsoft, SAP, and VMWare.
Languages:
German: Minimum B2 level (fluent).
English: Minimum B2 level.
Education:
A degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has relevant experience.

Salary and Compensation:
Range: €60,000 - €80,000 per year.
Bonus: Performance-based bonus possible
Contract specifics:
*Contract Type: Open-ended.
*Working Hours: 38.5 hours per week, with the option for a reduced 32-hour workweek.
*Vacation: 30 days of annual leave.
*Probation Period: Standard 6 months, with the possibility of reducing to 3 months.
Team Structure:
*Reporting: Directly to the Vice President of IT.
*Collaboration: Works closely with IT teams (IT-BA, IT-INF, IT-Management), as well as the purchasing (PUR), finance, and controlling departments.
Hiring Process:
1) Initial Interview: 60-minute online interview with an HR representative and either the Head of IT, Vice President, or another team member.
2) On-site Interview: In-depth discussion focusing on technical skills, cultural fit, and a tour of the office and facilities (1.5 to 2 hours). Discussion of terms, including salary.
3) Optional Probationary Day: A hands-on day to experience the role and workplace firsthand.
4) Final Decision: Typically made within 2-3 weeks after the initial interview.
