Patrimonium Asset Management AG (PATRIMONIUM) offers private market investment opportunities to institutional investors - in real estate, private debt, private equity and infrastructure. Patrimonium was founded in 2007 by Christoph Syz, Daniel Heine and Stephane Bonvin, Swiss entrepreneurs sharing the belief that private markets could unlock attractive opportunities for professional investors. Our firm initially started in Real Estate and Private Debt. We added Infrastructure in 2015, and Private Equity in 2017 to cover the full spectrum of private-market investments. Today we are a partner of more than 150 institutional investors in Switzerland and Europe. Key figures: - 70 professionals - 4bn CHF assets under management - 400+ investments We identify private-market opportunities where an active approach delivers sustainable returns

Company culture

Our investments in each asset class are managed by a dedicated in-house team. We also possess unique sourcing capabilities in northern Europe, mainly in the German-speaking countries of Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

We have developed proprietary processes to master the complexity of selecting and managing private-market investments, enhancing performance, and mitigating risks.

True to our entrepreneurial attitude, we typically invest alongside third-party investors in the structures we create.

Our firm is supervised by FINMA, the Swiss securities regulator, and by OAK BV, the Swiss pension fund regulator.

We employ 70 people at our offices in Zurich, Lausanne and Baar and currently have CHF 3,8 bn in assets under management (31.12.2021).

Corporate Culture

A great place to work

We want our employees to be happy. And that means having a healthy, constructive working environment. At Patrimonium, we give our employees spacious, ergonomic offices in modern buildings equipped with air purifiers, gyms, yoga rooms, healthy-eating restaurants, and more. In addition, our offices – designed with sustainability in mind – are located in the high-quality-of-life cities of Zurich and Lausanne. Everything our employees need for a pleasant and productive workday.

Open minds and open doors

We are a multicultural firm.

That brings benefits in terms of diversity – you’ll easily hear three languages spoken in our offices – and open-mindedness. We also embrace new ideas; ours is a culture of open dialogue and exchange. And with our informal management style, our doors are always open for colleagues to discuss – or even better, challenge – our ideas. Going one step further, we empower employees to take the initiative and come up with ideas of their own.

Fostering a win-win attitude

We believe that all employees should have the chance to live up to their full potential.

That’s why we encourage a win-win mindset and have adopted a flat organisational structure – everyone at Patrimonium has an important contribution to make. The entrepreneurial spirit that permeates our culture reflects this positive-thinking approach, as does our sponsorship of team sporting events like sailing and ice hockey. Team sports, like our firm, thrive on bringing out the best in each of us.
