Development Engineer

Description of the job

• Program the automation cycle and process of machines (Beckhoff PLC).
• Carry out the machine commissioning and software tuning of the machine and its axes.
• Provide customer support and after-sales service (10-20%).

Business travels
Travel is required for this position:

• Majority of clients are Swiss watchmakers in the Romandy region. One client is in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Ideal profile
Your Profile

• You are an HES Engineer or Technician in software or automation with solid knowledge of Beckhoff automation systems (Twincat 3 and 2).
• You are proficient in programming languages: C#, .Net, and databases (SQL Server).
• You have an interest in project management.
• You are autonomous and resourceful, enjoying challenges, solving technical problems, and working in interdisciplinary teams.
• You are eager to invest yourself in a family-sized industrial SME that values task enrichment over hierarchy and places importance on individual responsibility.

A plus for this position

• Knowledge of LabVIEW.
• You can communicate orally and in writing in German.
• You have experience in medical validation of machine software.
